Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:00pm
The Comptroller’s office, under the direction of the Town Board, maintains the accounting records and performs the financial operations for the town. The Town Board works closely with the Comptroller/Budget Officer to ensure fiscal responsibility is maintained.
Responsibilities of this office include:
• Approval of vouchers
• Process vendor claims
• Deposit and record all Town receipts
• Cash management/Investment
• Payroll and related payroll taxes
• Administer the NYS Retirement System program
• Serve as Human Resources Officer
• Health insurance enrollment and processing
• Financial reporting
• Auditing
• Budget preparation and oversight
